Eric Byrnes’ Perfect Day!
Eric Byrnes continues to step it up in the second week of Cactus League action. Batting leadoff in today’s split-squad "A" game versus the San Diego Padres, he got the D’Backs off to a fast start by homering. He also hit two singles, giving him his first homer AND his first 3-hit day of the spring.
Way to go, Byrnesie!
The D’Backs won 10-7.

I have been watching the game and have really been impressed with his play today!
He finally hit his first homer of the spring, AND he hit a single up the middle, which means he’s using more of the whole field. That kind of hitting is the difference between .267 and .297.
He should have a nice season if he can carru that into the Regular season!

It’s looking good for Eric. I hope he’s not going to be a streaky as he has in the past. I can’t wait for his TV show, too.
